How Did My Face Art Business Get Started?
It was all coincidental, but a marvelous and rewarding journey thus far. I was contracted to decorate for an event, and like I always do on such occasions, had stayed on to observe patrons react in their transformed environment. I saw a face-painter and balloon twister go by. They carried a popcorn machine and cotton candy machine. Then the proverbial light bulb came alight and awakened my entrepreneurial spirit then I thought "UMHH, Val, that is something you can do!"
Since then I have added a wide range of party services, including: glitter/airbrush tattoos, henna tattoos and airbrush hair designs. Now I love seeing the joy on children's faces and watching the parents enjoy the events for their loved ones. That's what keeps me motivated to continue growing my business
During my journey I learned that happy kids means happy parents. I learned, too, that parents and teenagers have an innate love for face painting.
